I spent most of my childhood sewing, knitting and embroidering, firmly believing that one day I would be a designer. But upon graduating with a Fashion degree, I realised I didn’t want to be a designer after all. What I really enjoyed was the process of creating products and working alongside the people who touched the product along its journey from idea to market.
Over the past 20 years I have worked for small and large British luxury brands. From clothing, accessories and jewellery, I managed the design, product development and production process and teams, creating winning products that generated million in revenue.
Having co-founded an online manufacturing platform connecting designers to manufacturers, I spent years working closely with start-ups, small fashion brands, suppliers and manufacturers. Through mentoring and client work I was able to see first hand (repeatedly) the problems in the industry. The biggest cause to it all being the lack of knowledge and understanding of how fashion on the inside really works.
The biggest lesson of all was seeing and learning first-hand that running a business that sucks up all of your time, focus and energy is NOT worth it.
My passion to help start ups and small brands launch and grow meaningful brands led me to create Fashion Insiders & Co.
Starting, launching and scaling your business should not have to be stress-inducing or so difficult that you end up hating the process.
My gift to be able to break down the design, development & manufacturing process and simplify it into actionable steps to help entrepreneurs identify and overcome their business challenges. Most importantly, to build their knowledge and confidence so that they can launch and grow meaningful, profitable brands.
In short, I help entrepreneurs like you dream big and back it up with meaningful action to create results.
