This group is for fashion entrepreneurs of all shapes and sizes, looking to connect with like-minded fashionistas, to pool resources and crowdsource wisdom.

It’s our mission to create an invaluable space and resource to all of our members, no matter what stage they are in their business.

Before you kick off your shoes and make yourself at home, please take a moment to read the following rules:

1. GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE

Show up with the intention to connect, serve and help, not to sell, grow your business, list, audience or bottom line.

The group is about fashion entrepreneurship, overcoming fashion design and manufacturing challenges and learning how to grow your business. Not turning group members into customers.

Use the group to build genuine and mutually beneficial connections and share ideas and success!

2. BE HELPFUL

Provide genuine and helpful feedback and suggestions to others. Share your thoughts and experiences because they are valuable.

Ask questions.

Give answers.

Be the kind of supportive friend that you want and need on your entrepreneurial journey.

Remember: The fashion entrepreneurship journey is a long and complicated one. The more insights and guidance, the better!

We are all here to help each other…so give more than you take, please.

3. BE CAREFUL

Be professional and responsible in how you communicate with your fellow members – don’t share other people’s information without their permission, add them to newsletter lists without asking them first, copy, steal or share other people’s intellectual property; don’t re-use or repurpose other members content. If in doubt – ask us at [email protected]

4. BE OPEN

Remember: the stronger the fashion business community grows, the better for us all. So there shall be no put-downs or negativity. Some people might not agree with you and that is okay. This is a place to share ideas and viewpoints, not to “be right”.

5. PROMO POLICY

Self-promotion without the group admin’s permission will not be tolerated. We will only allow you to promote what you are currently working on (a snippet of a project or a finalised piece of work) when asked in a prompted post ONLY.

If you self-promote without a prompted post or the group’s admin’s permission – your self-promotion will be reviewed, deleted, and will end either in a warning or immediate expulsion from the group.

6. DON’T POST LINKS

We’d greatly prefer you to tell us the 4 or 5 most important points from any article you have read and made an impression on you. Then post the link as a reply to your own comment for those more interested to find and read.
